Q: What's the story behind Body Essentials by Snowchild?
A: After a lengthy career in social service management, the arrival of a second child, the death of a parent and
much personal soul searching, years of passion and commitment to health, wellness and wholeness became a
driving force to create this wholesome bath, body and skin care line for all to enjoy. Many of our product
recipes have come from an antiquated recipe book handed down through the generations, so our products
truly are tried tested and true, many with nearly a 100 year history attached! Snowchild came into existence
when the realization that "Life is short... Life it well" became apparent.
Q: Where did the name Snowchild come from?
A: While working in Northern Alberta in the 1990's, this native name was given to the company owner, Joanne,
by a much respected Aboriginal Elder. It seemed appropriate to honour this name and to incorporate it into
the passion of this venture.
